The technician will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment at various customer sites. They are responsible for accurately reporting service activities, managing parts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, 2-5 years of commercial HVAC experience, and current HVAC certification. A valid driver's license, OSHA 10 training, and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 75 pounds are required.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. This position requires an intermediate skill level with performing electrical and mechanical inspections, start-up maintenance on the equipment we sell, repairs, and service contract maintenance. This is a full-time opportunity for an energetic go-getter. An ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented and work well with others. Position requires a high level of correspondence with Project Managers, Service Coordinators and customers.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

MPSW is a technical sales company that represents world class “HVAC Engineered Equipment” manufacturers in the Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso markets. Products represented offer equipment utilized in almost every HVAC system type that your project may require. The experienced technical sales team at MPSW includes sales engineers with mechanical, chemical, civil and industrial engineering degrees, professional engineering stamps and many years of collective experience. Our sales engineers provide design assistance for consulting engineers and design build contractors including equipment sizing, application and energy analysis. When providing equipment to contractors or owners, the inside sales team supports the entire sales cycle from submittal to order entry, delivery to startup and closeout. Equipment startup and long term support is accomplished by our service and parts departments. The experienced service team at MPSW includes factory certified and trained technicians to insure proper startup and commissioning of every product MPSW represents. Warranty and replacement parts for all products represented are available through the MPSW parts department with many parts locally stocked.
