Full job description
The Waterslide Construction Foreman is responsible for leading small to large scope projects across the United States. In this hands on role, you will leverage your planning, organization, communication and hands on trades skills to deliver waterslide projects.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
Construction Management:
Function as the on-site subject matter expert on the installation process.
Prepare, plan and organize on site activities of our crew and subcontractor labour.
Direct on-site positioning of trucks and cranes and offloading duties.
Supervise all construction related activities of the installation as well as working hands on with the crew.
Supervise and preassemble steel ride support sections.
Problem solve and instruct any adjustments to the installations of foundations and steel ride supports.
Be involved in preassembly and erection of all fiberglass flume sections and direct adjustments to the ride path.
Provide direction and mentorship for connecting of plates by welding/bolting. Review connections are installed correctly, and no leaks are present.
Identify leaks or gelcoat chips and cracks and direct the repair.
Read and interpret specification, engineering, and schematic drawings. Partner with the engineering and project team to go over foreseen issues.
Provide direction on construction of the water ride tower in accordance with engineering drawings and problem solve any technical issues.
Manage the pouring of concrete for tower landing platforms, decks, and pans as well as painting of steel columns, towers and start platforms.
Ensure that all rides are clean and that all rides’ interiors have been washed and waxed.
Follow ProSlide and State Laws regarding all safety requirements during the project.
Commission ProSlide products upon completion of the construction phase.
Documentation & Process Management:
Interact regularly with our client and teams via phone, email, and other forms of documentation.
Ensure customer satisfaction by leading regular meetings and providing guidance.
Attend regular site coordination meeting including, planning, and scheduling all work to be completed on site.
Provide subject matter and technical advice on all components and processes.
Contribute to project post-mortems and feedback at the end of projects.
Provide ongoing feedback of installation process and any improvements that could be made.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
5-10 plus years of construction related experience.
Must have a valid passport and ability to travel with no restrictions.
Must have valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certificate· Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is required.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Strong customer service background
Experience with completing site reports or similar documentation.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
3-5 plus years leading construction tradespersons.
Working Conditions:
90% International and Domestic Travel
