The supervisor assists with the training and supervision of track employees while inspecting assigned track for abnormalities. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with federal requirements and managing daily operational tasks such as payroll and material procurement.
Candidates must possess FRA certification for track/bridge inspection and roadway worker in charge (RWIC) qualification. Knowledge of Norfolk Southern safety and operating rules is required, and an associate degree in engineering is preferred.
