The Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain PLC/HMI-based control systems while providing production support for manufacturing equipment. They are responsible for evaluating automation for safety, developing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on project commissioning.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of automation experience. Proficiency in robotics, PLC/HMI programming, and experience with plastics injection molding equipment are required.

Summary:
The Automation Engineer supports all aspects of ADS automation and control systems development, integration, and implementation. This role leverages a strong technical background to design, deploy, and optimize automated systems that deliver measurable operational results. Through disciplined project management, the Automation Engineer ensures systems meet evolving process and business requirements while leading and tracking capital projects that drive automation initiatives across the ADS network.
