About the Opportunity – Permanent Role – STMS
Are you passionate about the safety and efficiency of road and civil infrastructure projects? We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a STMS based in Christchurch, covering the Canterbury region. In this key role, you will work alongside our Construction team supporting the planning and delivery of a variety of projects from critical maintenance to planned construction work by ensuring robust and compliant traffic management, keeping both our workers and the public safe while fostering smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside our Construction team, preparing, reviewing, and implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), making adjustments as necessary to address project and site changes.
Communicate effectively with Isaac teams, subcontractors, clients, and the public to ensure clear understanding and minimal disruption.
Delivery safe, compliant and efficient traffic management services to support our projects and jobs.
Skills & Experience
Current STMS Cat A & Cat B qualification and demonstrated on-site experience in temporary traffic management within civil infrastructure or construction is a definite advantage.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements as they relate to road, infrastructure, and construction projects.
Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse teams, the public, and key stakeholders.
Proactive approach to risk identification, hazard management, and process improvement.
Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly under pressure in changing environments.
Valid New Zealand driver’s license (ideally Class 2).
Legal right to work in New Zealand, is essential
