The Opportunity:
As a CACI Mission & Engineering Support Cyber Analyst supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will contribute to enabling Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense, interagency, and coalition partners. Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD’s Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration.
In this pivotal role, you will support the warfighter by providing expert modeling and simulation support to assure and prevent PNT information through coordinated employment of space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations. Your work will directly impact joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and the execution of NAVWAR operations across all domains and military operations.
You will play a critical part in assessing offensive and defensive NAVWAR operational capabilities in contested environments, identifying knowledge gaps, and developing tactics, techniques, and procedures to mitigate NAVWAR vulnerabilities. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on national security by ensuring PNT superiority and supporting the warfighter with cutting-edge NAVWAR solutions.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you shall coordinate with key entities such as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), JFHQ-DoD Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN), and other CYBERCOM components, as the situation demands.
You will facilitate the seamless sharing of information, both within the organization and with external partners, and you will integrate this information sharing into Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4), cyber, and cyberspace operations to enhance overall effectiveness and collaboration.
Additionally, you will review existing policies and authorities, ensuring strict compliance and effective implementation across all relevant operations and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active DoD Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
A bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications including CompTIA's Network+, CompTIA's Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner, or industry equivalent (8570 compliant certs).
Five years of relevant Cyber Security experience.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail.
Desired:
Prior experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters‐Cyber (JFHQ‐C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), JFHQ‐DoD Information Network (JFHQ‐DoDIN), or other CYBERCOM components.
Ability to work independently with limited government oversight.
Capacity to function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
