The technician will perform composite layouts, assembly, and bonding of structures using precision tools and vacuum bag processing. They are also responsible for fitting core materials and thermal protection systems while maintaining shop standards.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant experience ranging from 0 to 5+ years depending on the technician level. The role requires physical stamina for standing, climbing, and maneuvering in tight spaces, as well as compliance with ITAR regulations.

As a Composites Technician based at Rocket Lab’s site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will have the opportunity to support basic composite layouts on parts or assemblies to establish reference points and check dimensions using precision tools. In this role you will work on preparing parts for bagging with bleeders, thermocouples, probes, and vacuum connections, and performing vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing.
