The Project Engineer will support the calibration, validation, and testing of base engine, hybrid, and aftertreatment controls on dynamometers and in-vehicle applications. They are responsible for analyzing system performance, implementing instrumentation, and preparing technical reports for internal and customer review.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 1 to 3 years of experience in powertrain testing with strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and combustion processes. Proficiency with calibration tools like INCA or CANape and knowledge of US emission regulations are highly preferred.

The Engine, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Powertrains group at FEV North America, Inc is seeking a Project Engineer with specialization in engine and hybrid powertrain calibration. This Project Engineer position is an opportunity for the right candidate to experience state-of-the-art powertrain technology and get involved in a wide range of development tasks that move application solutions from concept to production.
As a Project Engineer specializing in the development of both conventional and hybrid powertrains, you will be responsible for supporting the calibration and validation of base engine controls, aftertreatment controls, hybrid controls or on-board diagnostic (OBD) systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for general engine and hybrid powertrain development work and testing as well as validation and certification activities performed on chassis and engine dynos as well as in-vehicle/machine in the application environment. Working with highly motivated individuals from across the globe on a variety of engines, vehicles and markets, the Project Engineer will be able to increase their scope of experience with technology used across the globe. This Project Engineer position requires a highly motivated individual with an eagerness to learn and make a positive contribution.
