But what you might not know, is that we’re investing in renewable energy projects, including wind farms and big batteries, to help build a more sustainable and reliable future.
Our Big Battery is now live in Kwinana, we’re expanding the Warradarge Wind Farm, the WA EV Network has launched, and we have many other projects in the works.
We're a purpose-driven organisation, owned by the people of WA. Our commitment is to ensure all Western Australians have access to secure, reliable, and sustainable energy.
We believe that the benefits of renewable energy aren’t just for some, they're for everyone.
This is where you come in.
Role Description:

A key focus will be assessing new initiatives, investment proposals, and emerging technology opportunities, providing guidance on how they align with enterprise architecture, technology roadmaps, standards, and organisational priorities.
Success in this role is measured by the quality of decision-making you enable, the influence you bring to strategic conversations, and your ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. You are a strategic thinker who enjoys influencing outcomes and helping organisations make better technology decisions. You can quickly understand business priorities, evaluate competing options, and communicate complex technology considerations in a way that enables confident decision-making.
Job responsibilities:
Provide architectural leadership and strategic guidance for technology investments and initiatives.
Support business case development, option assessments, and investment decision-making.
Assess technology proposals against enterprise architecture principles, standards, roadmaps, and strategic objectives.
Influence stakeholders to adopt technology solutions that maximise organisational value and reduce complexity.
Facilitate architecture reviews, governance forums, and strategic planning activities.
What you will bring:
Contribute to technology roadmaps, capability planning, and future-state architecture direction.
Identify opportunities for technology consolidation, simplification, standardisation, and reuse.
Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends and assess their applicability to the organisation.
Partner with delivery teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure technology decisions remain aligned to strategic intent.
Provide architecture assurance throughout the lifecycle of major initiatives.
