You will manage indirect tax compliance for renewable energy projects and assist the tax team with financial modeling and reporting. Additionally, you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize tax processes and handle state tax payments.
Candidates must be eligible for Industrial Training under ICAI rules and planning to appear for CA Final exams in 2028 or later. Strong attention to detail, independent working capabilities, and excellent communication skills are required.
What you'll do
In this role, you’ll primarily manage indirect tax (property and sales & use tax) compliance for existing and new renewable projects located across multiple states in the U.S. and corporate entities. You will also be expected to assist the tax team in indirect tax modeling and various forms of accounting, management, and investor reporting, including partnership accounting, hypothetical liquidation at book value (HLBV) modeling, yield tracking, and budget versus actual analysis. To perform this role, you’ll liaise with U.S. and Hyderabad-based deal team members, asset managers, treasury, tax team, external consultants and tax authorities for various tax related matters. You’ll be responsible for initiating periodic state tax payments and addressing tax notices. In addition to this, you’ll work on initiatives related to establishing, standardizing, optimizing and documenting tax processes, workflows and controls.
