We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to support the tax function for a growing alternative asset manager focused on energy investments. The ideal candidate has experience with partnership taxation and investment fund structures, particularly joint venture arrangements, and is comfortable navigating the complexities of multi-entity investment vehicles. This role will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, reviewing partnership allocations, coordinating with external tax advisors, supporting investor tax reporting (including Schedule K-1s), and assisting with tax planning initiatives across fund and management company entities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of partnership tax concepts, exceptional analytical skills, and experience working within an asset manager, private equity firm, or investment platform with exposure to energy-focused investments and joint venture structures.
Salary Range
At Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $102,000 - $153,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only. Actual pay will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.
