The Assistant Coach is responsible for practice preparation, player development, and game day coaching. They also manage recruiting efforts and supervise player personnel under the direction of the head coach.
Candidates must be well-versed in cross country with previous coaching experience preferred. The position requires strict adherence to PSUAC, USCAA, and NCAA Division III rules, along with successful completion of background checks.

Penn State Scranton, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Part Time Assistant Cross Country Coach within the Department of Athletics.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Practice preparation
Player development
Game day coaching
Recruiting
Supervising both player personnel under the head coach
Additionally, the Assistant Coach must be well versed in the sport of cross country with previous coaching experience preferred. Hours are primarily in-season with a requirement for recruiting in the off-season
