UPMC Shadyside, a four-time Magnet-designated hospital, is looking to hire a full-time Clinical Professional Development Specialist (CPDS) to join their exceptional Nursing Education team!
This position will support our Operating Room. Previous experience working in an OR and scrubbing is required.
This role primarily operates during weekday daylight shifts, with the flexibility to engage with night and weekend staff as needed to meet the education requirements of the unit.
This is more than an education role—it’s an opportunity to shape clinical excellence in real time. You’ll work side by side with OR nurses, scrubbing in and providing hands-on guidance that builds confidence, strengthens skills, and improves patient outcomes. If you thrive on mentorship, collaboration, and being a visible, trusted resource, this role is for you.
