TEACHING AT CASTILLEJA
At Castilleja we know that students thrive when learning happens within and beyond classroom walls and when students actively witness engagement in the greater community by the adults in their lives. This is an exciting teaching opportunity for a visionary teacher who is passionate about educating girls and preparing them to succeed in STEAM fields and elsewhere. As a Department, we strive to engender and extend an interest in science while simultaneously providing students with an understanding of fundamental scientific principles and modes of thinking, fostering both scientifically literate citizens and future scientists. This teacher would likely teach a combination of 9th Grade Physics and AT Physics and would be expected to collaborate with department colleagues and the Department Lead to align the objectives, skills, content, and assessments. This position reports to the Department Lead and Academic Leadership.
