The teacher will instruct 9th Grade and AT Physics while collaborating with department colleagues to align curriculum objectives and assessments. They are expected to foster a collaborative learning environment and actively engage with the school community.
Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant field and prior teaching or commensurate professional experience. Proficiency with classroom technology and a commitment to student-centered, antiracist pedagogy are required.

This is an exciting teaching opportunity for a visionary teacher who is passionate about educating girls and preparing them to succeed in STEAM fields and elsewhere. As a Department, we strive to engender and extend an interest in science while simultaneously providing students with an understanding of fundamental scientific principles and modes of thinking, fostering both scientifically literate citizens and future scientists. This teacher would likely teach a combination of 9th Grade Physics and AT Physics and would be expected to collaborate with department colleagues and the Department Lead to align the objectives, skills, content, and assessments. This position reports to the Department Lead and Academic Leadership.
