Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, Healthcare, or a related field and at least five years of experience delivering professional training. Proficiency in LMS tools and experience in regulated or performance-critical environments is highly preferred.
The Training Specialist is responsible for the delivery, facilitation, and execution of education and training programs that support donation operations performance, workforce readiness, and regulatory compliance within a 24/7 clinical environment. This role delivers high‑quality training in person and virtually, supports competency validation activities, and ensures accurate documentation of training completion within the Learning Management System (LMS).
The Training Specialist partners closely with Education leadership, Instructional Designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and operational leaders to deliver consistent, standardized, audit‑ready training aligned with CMS OPO Conditions for Coverage, OPTN/UNOS policy, and applicable federal and New York State requirements governing OPO operations.
