Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum, Technology, or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience with online learning technologies, pedagogies, and multimedia design is required.

The Instructional Designer II (ID II) acts as project manager for multiple course design projects. This role forms and leads instructional design teams consisting of divisional staff members and subject matter experts, delegating work to ensure equal responsibility for timely, accurate, high-quality completion of course design and multimedia projects. The ID II chooses and applies appropriate instructional design principles, teaching strategies, and media formats to help develop written scripts/storyboards and transform them into clear, meaningful, engaging educational content for learners. This position stays current with digital design techniques and uses fundamental digital design principles to develop, illustrate, and produce complex visual representations (such as learning objects, course enhancements, eBooks, and video) through the mastery of key software programs and tools.
