The Lead Racquet Sports Professional plans and delivers high-quality instruction, clinics, and tournaments for tennis and pickleball. They are responsible for growing program participation and supervising other coaching staff while managing daily facility operations.
Candidates should have a strong playing background (4.5+ level) and preferred certifications such as RSPA, USPTR, or PPR. Experience in coaching all skill levels and organizing racquet sports events is required.
Position Purpose & Summary
The Full-Time Lead Racquet Sports Professional is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality instruction, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and special events for all racquet sports programming. This position plays a key role in creating a fun, energetic, and engaging on-court experience for members and resort guests while helping grow participation in tennis, pickleball, and spec tennis.
The Lead Professional will work closely with the Club Director to develop new programs, enhance existing offerings, build strong member relationships, and support the overall success of the racquet sports department. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional knowledge of both tennis and pickleball, is a strong player in both sports, and demonstrates a passion for teaching players of all ages and abilities.
