The Area Director is responsible for leading youth ministry in Morris County, including recruiting and training volunteer leaders and staff. They must also manage fundraising strategies, maintain donor relationships, and oversee the spiritual development of the local ministry.
Candidates require at least one year of related ministry experience and a demonstrated ability to lead teams and relate to youth and adults. A college degree is preferred, and applicants must subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.

Leadership Development — “Equipping leaders, committee and staff” includes key volunteer care, recruiting, team building and training, supervision and vision casting.
Resource Development: “Fueling the ministry” includes events, major donor care, public relations (branding) and TDS team.
Direct Ministry: “Proclaiming and modeling” includes contact work, club, Campaigners and camp.
Ministry Support: “Taking care of business” includes accounting, administration, communication (internal), data management and strategic plan.
