As a trusted partner to the Faculty Executive team, you will play a central role in enabling impactful decision-making, driving operational excellence, and ensuring seamless coordination across a broad network of stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a collaborative and inclusive community, where your contribution helps create meaningful change across teaching, research, and engagement.
Delivering high-level executive and administrative support, including proactive diary management, travel coordination, and prioritisation of competing demands
Coordinating meetings, committees, and events, including preparing documentation, taking minutes, and ensuring effective follow-up actions
Managing workflows, systems, and processes to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the Faculty Executive Office
Undertaking research, analysis, and drafting high-quality correspondence and reports, including handling sensitive and confidential information
This is a full-time, continuing position at HEW Level 6.
You are a highly organised, proactive and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced executive environment. With a strong sense of discretion and professionalism, you bring excellent judgement, superior communication skills, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders across a diverse organisational landscape.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Extensive experience providing senior-level executive support in a complex or large organisation
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines independently
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Proven ability to exercise discretion, sound judgement, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying solutions
Experience managing financial processes such as budgets, reconciliations, and expense management in line with organisational policies
A strong understanding of administrative systems, governance processes, and organisational structures within a large institution
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
