About the Team
On the Merchant Strategy & Operations team, our mission is to have best-in-class restaurant selection for Consumers and build products and services for our Merchants to grow their businesses profitably on DoorDash. We work on problems ranging from acquiring and onboarding new merchants to building a positive experience and solving pain points for existing merchants, to growing their sales through new products and services.
About the Role
As a Merchant Strategy & Operations Senior Associate at DoorDash, you will lead the support experience for our merchants, owning both the strategy & execution of how we serve them once they’re live on the platform. You’ll be responsible for transforming support into a tech-first, scalable, and seamless experience that drives merchant satisfaction, retention & loyalty.

Influence – Work cross-functionally with our product, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and analytics teams to land key initiatives

You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
You have 2-4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, banking, technology, or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience and experience leading a team are a plus
You have a proven track record of working on highly cross-functional initiatives, managing towards ambitious goals, and succeeding in a complex environments
You’re an owner / self-starter – You have a bias towards action and are proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions, and areas to add value

Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
