Full job description
THE POSITION Our roster has an opening with your name on it
FanDuel is hiring a Lead Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of Account Management and Profile experiences across our portfolio of products — from Sportsbook and Casino to Racing, Daily Fantasy Sports, and new product categories on the horizon. From account creation and personal details management to profile customization and account settings, you'll shape how millions of customers manage their accounts and personal information across FanDuel every day, working at the intersection of customer experience, regulatory complexity, and multi-product ecosystem management.
You'll partner closely with Engineering, Product across other verticals, Risk/Fraud, Finance, Compliance, and Legal to build account management experiences that are customer-first, compliant, resilient, and built to scale. This is a high-impact role for an experienced product leader who wants to own meaningful
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN Everyone on our team has a part to play
Product Strategy and Vision: Partner with the Director of Product to define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for Account Management and Profile — balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
Account Management Experience: Own the end-to-end account management journey across FanDuel's portfolio — personal details, profile customization, account settings, and self-serve capabilities — designing experiences that balance ease-of-use with the controls, disclosures, and auditability required for a regulated environment.
Cross-Product Collaboration & Account Hub Evolution: Enable seamless account experiences across all FanDuel products (Sportsbook, Casino, Racing, Predicts, DFS). Identify and drive self-service opportunities that reduce friction, increase customer autonomy, and improve the overall account management journey across the multi-product ecosystem.
Industry and Product Expertise: Build deep knowledge of account management product features, user journeys, and customer identity/profile best practices. Stay informed on market shifts, competitors, and emerging personalization technologies to refine the product roadmap.
Performance, Optimization & Metrics: Drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction, completion rates, and account feature adoption while maintaining strong controls. Establish, track, and communicate the success metrics (HEART scores, task success, conversion, user happiness) that matter and use a data-driven approach to prioritize work and demonstrate impact.
Compliance & Self-Serve Expansion: Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk to evolve account self-service capabilities that increase customer autonomy while meeting regulatory requirements (e.g., customer verification, account settings management, T&C acceptance flows).
Experimentation and Iteration: Champion a test-and-learn approach: concept validation, A/B tests, pilots, and phased rollouts to validate account experience improvements before broad launches.
Product Quality and Delivery: Partner with engineering to ensure clear requirements, strong acceptance criteria, and high-quality launches. Manage dependencies, triage issues, and act as an escalation point to keep delivery on track across multiple product pods.
Cross-functional Leadership: Lead complex initiatives end-to-end—from discovery and business case through delivery and iteration. Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk/Fraud, and Operations; remove blockers and drive decisions.
Stakeholder Management and Influence: Deliver concise, action-oriented communication and confidently present to senior leadership and cross-functional partners to secure buy-in, align priorities, and drive outcomes.
THE STATS What we're looking for in our next teammate
7+ years of product management experience with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes through customer-facing experiences.
Experience with account management, identity, profile/personalization, or customer data products is preferred. We'll also strongly consider candidates with experience in adjacent domains — customer onboarding, conversion optimization, self-serve platforms, or marketplace account features.
Demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact — e.g., user engagement, feature adoption, conversion, retention, revenue generation, cost optimization, or comparable KPI improvements.
Experience leading and developing others as a direct manager — at least one product manager or analyst reporting to you, with evidence of their growth under your leadership.
Comfort working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments, with experience partnering closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk (or equivalent functions).
Technical fluency: comfortable collaborating deeply with engineering on APIs, complex identity systems, multi-product architecture, and third-party vendor integrations.
Strong business acumen: crafting business cases, prioritizing tradeoffs, and communicating clearly with executive stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence without authority across senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
Passion for sports, sports betting, or sports-adjacent products; existing knowledge in these areas is a plus.
Bonus: exposure to AI in a product context — whether that's using AI tools to accelerate your own product workflows, leveraging AI to build product features, or simply a strong curiosity and aptitude for incorporating AI into how modern PMs work.
Don't check all the boxes? That's okay! We encourage you to still apply if you feel you possess adjacent skills and are interested in learning more.
