The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating surgeries, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments while acting as the primary contact for surgical patients. They ensure all insurance authorizations and documentation are complete and maintain accurate schedules within the electronic medical record system.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of healthcare experience, with a working knowledge of medical insurance and terminology. Proficiency in electronic medical records, preferably Epic, and strong communication skills are required.
