Responsible for accurately obtaining and entering patient information into the Epic system for billing and regulatory purposes. Duties include conducting patient interviews, collecting payments, and ensuring all facility forms are correctly completed.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in healthcare registration or medical office environments is preferred.
Under the direct supervision of the manager or designee, the Patient Registration Clerk (FLOAT) is responsible for obtaining required information from patients in order to complete an accurate registration for the use in patient care, billing and all regulatory requirements and documenting all information into correct area within the Epic registration system.
