About the Role  

We are looking for an experience part-time bartender too join the team at Capitol Bar at QT Canberra. We are looking for someone with a passion for shaking exceptional cocktails and loves delivering service with flair and personality. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment and takes pride in their mixology skills, product knowledge, and ability to engage with a diverse clientele. 

Skills & Experience  

• 1 - 2 years of experience working in a similar restaurant, hotel or bar.
• Experience making cocktails with a good knowledge of all thing beverage related from your classics to the slightly mor unusual
• Personable, enjoy working in a busy environment and engaging with guests.
• Good communication, a team player and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and the ability to multi-task and anticipate the guests needs.
• Enjoy working in a hotel environment and have flexibility to support different outlets.

Key Responsibilities  

• Maintain personal grooming and uphold a clean, safe, and well-stocked work environment in line with hotel standards.
• Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while adhering to all operational, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge and comply with all preparation and dispensing standards.
• Complete all opening, closing, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in all required training sessions to continuously improve service and product knowledge.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
