The technician is responsible for servicing and repairing commercial laundry equipment while selling service contracts and preventative maintenance plans. They also coordinate service calls, provide warranty labor, and support project management for laundromat installations.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in commercial equipment repair and a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

The Service Technician obtains orders for sales and service contracts by performing meet and greets with laundromat owners. They also service and repair laundry equipment in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with Laundrylux established standards and procedures.

Back to the role:
Perform all service support as well as upsells and sells service contracts to locations.
Provide all Wascomat / Electrolux warranty labor.
Offer installation/parts support when needed.
Addresses all service and parts calls, customer support role.
Coordinates and schedules service calls for team and customers.
Supports team in project manager role when needed on laundromat projects.
Canvases markets and drops off mailers.
Drive the sale of Preventative Maintenance and Service Plans.
Recommend measures to improve service methods, equipment performance, and quality of service.
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
Maintain time and service records.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Assist with helping key accounts.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:
1+ years of experience in installation and repair of commercial equipment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.
Ability to operate equipment, i.e., forklift, pallet jack, lift gate.
Travel Required:
Frequent travel to customer locations.
Overnight travel on occasions
