The Optometric Technician manages patient flow by conducting preliminary screenings and vision tests prior to the optometrist's examination. They are also responsible for maintaining the professional appearance of the office and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
No prior optical experience or certification is required as training is provided, though retail or optical experience is preferred. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate instructions clearly to patients.
