Provides essential support to the Funeral Director by arranging floral displays and guiding guests during services. Acts as a reception host and parking attendant while leading families to gravesite locations.
Requires an associate degree or two years of related experience and a valid WA State driver's license with a clean record. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
Summary:
Provides assistance to the Funeral Director in planning, placing floral arrangements and greeting and guiding guests to the funeral home and cemetery before, during and after services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
· Assists the Funeral Director with arranging flowers before and after funeral services.
· Assists guests as needed including acting as Reception Host, Parking Attendant, and other duties as assigned for services. Verifies and posts details of business transactions.
· Assists with leading families up to the gravesite locations by either meeting family in lobby and then leading up by car or by waiting for the procession to arrive from an outside location and then leading cars up to the gravesites.

Education/Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions.
Computer Skills
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required as well as understanding of a CRM system.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must have a valid WA State driver's license and clean driving record.
