Support the funding process for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects with various investors and lenders. Manage financial models, track tax equity returns, and execute asset optimization transactions such as refinancings and valuations.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field with 0-4 years of experience in energy sector project finance. Must possess advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of complex project finance modeling and financial concepts.
Clearway’s Portfolio Finance team is a key contributor on both the development and operating sides of the business, covering both transactions during the construction and operations phases. The Portfolio Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the investor funding process for Clearway’s utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. In addition, the Portfolio Finance Analyst will be highly involved in certain asset optimization transactions, including, but not limited to, refinancings, acquisitions of investor interests, “as is” valuations, and other forms of restructurings.
This position is located in San Diego (Del Mar), CA.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
