The Senior UX/UI Designer will guide government clients through the Design Intelligence framework to solve complex user experience challenges. They will lead the design process from discovery through interface design, including research, prototyping, and usability testing.
Candidates must have 4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and a strong understanding of user-centered design methods are required.
As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for guiding government clients through our Design Intelligence™ framework, incorporating human-centered methods to solve complex user experience challenges. You will plan and execute UX initiatives from discovery through interface design; research, prototyping, iteration, visual design, user, usability, and accessibility testing. You will serve as the voice of the customer and make sure their needs are considered and met within a proposed solution.
Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $140,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
