In this role, you will manage workstreams and deliverables, partner with client stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions, and support technology, operating model, process, data, and change initiatives. You will bring financial services expertise, help mentor junior team members, and contribute to business and practice development priorities. These expectations align with West Monroe’s Senior Consultant / Level 3 role, including managing workstreams, ensuring quality, anticipating risks, and contributing to pursuits and team development.
What You Will Do
Manage client workstreams and deliver high-quality outcomes across commercial lending, treasury management, risk, regulatory compliance, M&A, core conversions, and related transformation initiatives.
Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, and change management activities.
Apply knowledge of commercial banking processes and platforms to develop operating models, optimize processes, and support technology-enabled transformation.
Manage project status, timelines, risks, and deliverables while communicating issues and recommendations to client and project leadership.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across client organizations and contribute to proposals, pursuits, and account development.
Mentor junior consultants, share subject matter expertise, and contribute to tools, methodologies, and practice initiatives.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.
Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3–5+ years of combined financial services and professional services consulting experience, including client delivery.
Experience in commercial lending and/or treasury management, preferably supporting top 25 or large regional banks.
Experience with business process optimization, business requirements, project or program management, risk management, regulatory compliance, system implementation, testing, training, and Waterfall or Agile delivery.
Experience with commercial lending platforms such as nCino, Moody’s CreditLens, Baker Hill NextGen, Sageworks, FIS, Fiserv, or Jack Henry, and/or CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience managing or leading the work of others and guiding teams through change.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs.
Ability to travel 25 to 50%.
A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives.
Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
