This position will be managing and leading transmission projects throughout the entire project life cycle, including scope and/or proposal development, project team development and assignment, project execution, project closeout, quality control, schedule, and budget management.
Job Responsibilities
Lead multiple electric transmission and linear infrastructure projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Provide technical leadership for transmission line siting, routing studies, and permitting, coordinating with engineering and environmental teams.
Manage environmental studies, permitting, and regulatory compliance in accordance with NEPA and applicable federal and state regulations.
Serve as primary point of contact with clients, regulatory agencies, landowners, and stakeholders, including public involvement efforts.
Supervise and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, including scientists, planners, engineers, and technical staff.
Develop and review environmental reports, permit applications, and technical documentation.
Partner with senior leadership to support client relationships and business development.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, ecology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with electric transmission siting, routing, and regulatory compliance.
3+ years of project and/or people management experience.
Strong knowledge of NEPA and environmental permitting for linear infrastructure projects.
Experience with routing studies, public involvement, and agency coordination.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
