Candidates must have proven leadership experience in land acquisition or homebuilding strategy with a track record of closing complex deals. Strong financial modeling skills and deep knowledge of real estate contract terms and due diligence are required.

Position Summary
The Vice President of Land is responsible for building and executing Blue Heron’s land acquisition strategy to support the current business plan and the company’s vision. This leader owns the end-to-end land contracting process, including LOIs and PSAs, and drives community-level strategies that protect and elevate the Blue Heron brand. The VP of Land also leads deal underwriting through pro forma development and partners closely with FP&A/Finance to ensure accurate investment modeling and cash flow planning.
