About the role:

The LSEG Design UX team is seeking a talented, user obsessed, visually inspired, Lead Experience Designer to develop simply beautiful customer journeys and UX experiences for our customers.

Imagine being a lead designer in our team, you’ll be fundamental to leading and delivering strategic, LSEG-wide customer experience initiatives. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to craft concepts and deliver responsive design experiences for LSEGs digital ecosystem.

Involving the end user in your designs and liaising directly with product owners, technical architects and technology partners, we also like to mix quantitative analysis to the qualitative feedback loop.

Taking ownership to drive consistency of UX, while being inspired by our strong Brand architecture, you can call on the expertise of our dedicated Experience Fundamentals function and use our Design System to accelerate you in our agile working practices.

This role should attract a highly creative teammate at pace with the latest service design and interaction design trends as well as a deep knowledge of user experience principles. Leading by example, imagine delivering conceptual designs, customer journey maps, heuristic analysis and hands on delivery out to customers, and caring and defending your vision and design decisions against the balance of user needs, Brand experience, technical constraints and business needs.

• Passionate, motivated, curious self-starter with a strong collaborative nature.
• Happy standing by your concepts but also in finding a way forward by collaborating with shared goals in mind.
• Giving life to your designs through customer journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, detailed design screens and break points for an agile team environment.
• Expertise in stakeholder management and workshop leadership over several months of in-depth service design development
• You take joy in blending qualitative and quantitative feedback into your ideas.
• Expertise in user design principles, information architecture, heuristic analysis and search experiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication and not forgetting captivating storytelling skills.
• Detailed knowledge of user-centred design principles and a love of working them into your work.
• Skills in blending qualitative and quantitative data into designs
• Flamboyance (or even just quiet confidence) in Figma.
• Agility in working within a multi-discipline team to find a way to a great solution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Service design, Interaction Design, Information Design, Product Design or equivalent professional experience
