Digital Content, Search & Engagement Specialist

The Job

As a Digital Content, Search & Engagement Specialist, you will strengthen Septentrio's digital marketing presence by creating and optimizing content that is relevant, engaging, and easy to discover. You will contribute to our website, SEO and AI search visibility, persona-based marketing, Brand Hub, and social media activities, helping ensure our content reaches the right audiences at the right time.

Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Product Management and Sales, you will translate technical topics into clear, audience-focused content while supporting digital campaigns, audience engagement, and continuous improvement of our online presence.

Your Mission

Website Content

• Create, update, and optimize website content with SEO, AI search visibility, and user experience in mind.
• Improve page structure, landing pages, and content quality in collaboration with the website owner.
• Help ensure website content remains accurate, consistent, and aligned with business priorities.
• Monitor content performance using digital analytics and recommend improvements based on insights.

Personas & Audience Engagement

• Support the development of personas, audience segmentation, and engagement strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Contribute to lead nurturing, lead scoring, and audience engagement flows in collaboration with the marketing automation owner.
• Help analyze campaign performance and recommend opportunities to improve audience engagement.

Brand Hub & Content Management

• Support the rollout, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Brand Hub.
• Contribute to the migration, optimization, and maintenance of marketing assets to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
• Help keep marketing content organized, up to date, and easy for internal stakeholders to access and use.

Social Media & Digital Activation

• Plan and coordinate Septentrio's social media content calendar.
• Create engaging social media posts and campaign assets in collaboration with product, event, and marketing teams.
• Support paid social media campaigns and monitor engagement to continuously improve performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Market Portfolio Management, and Sales to ensure content supports business objectives and customer needs.
• Coordinate with colleagues responsible for websites, marketing automation, events, and digital platforms to deliver a consistent customer experience across all digital channels.

Your Qualifications

Experience & Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• First professional experience in digital marketing, content marketing, marketing communications, or a similar role.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
• Experience creating content for websites, digital campaigns, or social media.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and an interest in AI-driven search optimization (including AI search, GEO, and AI-assisted content optimization).
• Experience with CMS platforms is an asset.
• Experience with marketing automation or CRM platforms (such as Salesforce or Pardot) is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent project planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple NPI projects Comfortable using AI tools to support content creation, optimization, and analysis.
• Strong interest in digital marketing, audience engagement, and content performance.
• Curious about personas, segmentation, lead nurturing, and customer journeys.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys working with stakeholders across different functions.
• Eager to learn and grow within an international high-tech environment.
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch, French, or other languages is an asset.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10%), including occasional intercontinental supplier visits and periodic travel within Europe.
