The Permit Coordinator supports power construction projects by managing and tracking permit applications, coordinating with agencies, and maintaining accurate records to ensure timely approvals and compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Track and coordinate permits for power construction projects, including EV charging, power line work, and battery storage installations.
Prepare and submit permit applications and supporting documentation as directed by project teams or clients.
Communicate with local, county, and state agencies regarding permit requirements and approvals.
Register the company in municipal or county contractor portals when required.
Maintain organized records of permits, licensing statuses, expirations, and submissions in internal tracking systems.
Coordinate documentation with project managers, compliance staff, and subcontractors to ensure jurisdictional requirements are met.
Assist with contractor licensing support, including tracking renewals and preparing document packages.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with agencies and internal teams
Basic knowledge of construction, utilities, or permitting processes preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and document management systems
Ability to quickly learn municipal permitting portals and licensing requirements
Problem-solving mindset with ability to follow structured procedures
Work schedule:Monday - Friday from 15:00 till 23:00
