The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between finance stakeholders and the technical team to translate business requirements into functional specifications for ORMB system enhancements. They are responsible for documenting workflows, managing UAT processes, and ensuring solutions align with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems with at least 3 years of experience in finance systems or enterprise billing. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle ORMB or similar revenue billing platforms is required.
The Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between finance and accounting business stakeholders and the ORMB technical development team. This role encompasses gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for billing, revenue, tax, and financial reporting processes, and translating them into actionable functional specifications that drive ORMB system enhancements, integrations, and upgrade initiatives.
Working under the direction of the Technical Manager and in close partnership with finance domain leads, the Business Analyst will serve as the subject matter authority for billing and revenue workflows within ORMB, ensuring that delivered solutions align with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. This role also supports ORMB upgrade and migration efforts by facilitating UAT, validating financial data reconciliation, and ensuring process continuity across environments.
