Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a sub-function within Group Risk and Compliance. Its mandate is to ensure HSBC understands, monitors, and effectively manages its non-financial risk profile by providing end-to-end oversight of key processes, risks, and controls. ERM also maintains robust stewardship of the Bank’s risk appetite, ensuring alignment with risk, business, and regulatory priorities.
ERM strengthens risk culture across the organisation by applying effective policies and governance frameworks that promote consistent risk management practices across businesses and functions at global, regional, and market levels.
The HBCE ESG and Reputational Risks team sits within HBCE ERM. As part of Enterprise Risk Management in HSBC Continental Europe (HBCE), the team develops deep capability in ESG risk management, risk stewardship, as well as the assessment of reputational risk, working across both non-financial and financial risk frameworks.

What you will do:
As an ESG and Reputational Risks Generalist Advisor, you will support the Enterprise Risk Management function in strengthening the Bank’s ESG risk oversight and delivery. You will contribute to the design and the implementation of ESG risk frameworks, support key risk processes, and help ensure high-quality management information and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with a broad range of partners across Risk, Sustainability, Compliance, Finance and the Business at Global and Regional level to ensure ESG risk considerations are appropriately assessed, documented and communicated.
