The Support Broker coordinates daily Medicaid Waiver services and promotes participant independence through ongoing support, monitoring, and staff training. They also build community connections, manage budgets, and ensure all documentation complies with state and agency requirements.
Candidates must hold a degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or nursing, combined with one to three years of experience depending on the degree level. A valid license and the ability to pass a criminal background check are also required.

The Support Broker is responsible for coordinating the daily operation of Medicaid Waiver services, and for promoting personal growth and independence of participants in accordance with state and program regulations, GT Independence Policy and Procedures, and applicable accreditation standards.
