The Staff RN provides direct nursing care to patients in the Neuro Med/Surg ICU by executing medical treatment plans and utilizing established nursing protocols. They are responsible for monitoring complex neurological and cardiac conditions, administering emergency medications, and ensuring patient safety through continuous assessment and education.
Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license, ACLS certification, and NIHSS Stroke certification. A minimum of one year of critical care experience or completion of an AACN-accredited critical care course is required.
