The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and specialty equipment. They also manage the distribution of sterile supplies and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must be able to follow strict sterilization policies and procedures and demonstrate proficiency in handling surgical equipment. The position requires obtaining a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification within 24 months of hire.
