Responsible for the day-to-day supervision, mentorship, and support of supervisors overseeing various developmental disability programs in Northern California. Ensures program quality and compliance with federal and local laws while managing required documentation and family interactions.
Requires a BA degree in a Human Services field (Master's preferred) and at least four years of supervisory experience. Alternatively, ten years of related experience with persons with developmental disabilities may be substituted for the degree.

Job Description: This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, mentorship, and support of the northern CA team of supervisors overseeing various programs such as Supported Living (SLS); Independent Living (ILS); Tailor Day Services (TDS); Adaptive Skills Services (ASS); Self Determination (SD) and other potential future services. The manager will provide support to the San Jose region. The manager will be stationed at the San Jose office location however when/if needed will provide assistance to the other office personnel. The manager will also support Regional Director with supervising San Jose administrative assistance personnel.

Established in 1975 by members of the Autism Society of LA, Jay Nolan Community Services (JNCS) is a leader in innovative community-based support services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. In the 1990s, JNCS made history in disability services by offering Supported Living. This service disrupted the group home model by enabling adults with disabilities to live independently in their own homes with in-home supports. We believe with the right kinds of assistance, everyone can pursue their hopes and dreams and live to their full potential within the community. Today, JNCS has over 700 staff supporting over 500 individuals. We provide an array of quality services in Los Angeles, Ventura, Kern and Santa Clara Counties, offering individualized planning guided by the needs and wishes of the person receiving services and his or her Circle of Support. Our mission is to enable individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities to live fulfilling lives as members of the community by providing support services customized to their individual needs. It is an ideal of inclusion, rather than exclusion and segregation.
