What You’ll Do
Samsung Semiconductor's Automotive memory marketing team works closely with leading automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners to develop and grow Samsung’s memory business in the automotive market. The team is responsible for understanding customer and market requirements, supporting product and business strategies, composing pricing strategies, and coordinating closely with Sales, Business Enabling (FAE), and headquarters. The job scope will later grow to encompass Physical AI as Automotive systems are being leveraged in robotics and other physical AI formfactors.
Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CA in alignment with our Flexible Work policy
Reports to: Senior Professional, B2B Sales
Market Analysis—Track & analyze automotive memory market trends, identify gaps and opportunities, and analyze/forecast by customer and segment TAM
Develop and manage pricing/allocation strategies to optimize supply utilization, support strategic customer priorities, and drive sustainable growth
Manage key customer projects throughout the lifecycle, from development and RFI/RFQ stage through qualification and mass production, taking part as the primary entity for strategic pricing and supply planning.
Deep competitive analysis, collaborating with technical teams to develop product positioning and arm Sales teams with data supported analysis to drive competitive edge and marketing plans
Scrutinize analyst reports, highlight key messages, and model competitive TAM/SAM as well as Market Share
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or above required
3-6 years of related or equivalent experience in strategic planning or product marketing
In-depth understanding of either semiconductor memory industry or automotive industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills are must, including excellent presentation and public speaking capability
Strong analytical skills, ability to grasp complex financial, technical, and marketing information to develop strategies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Ability to create clear and professional presentations for internal and external audience
Familiarity with Korean language and culture is a plus
Proficiency with AI tool for analytics and presentation materials

$124,000—$186,000 USD
