Facilitate a dementia group respite program by leading engaging activities based on a planned curriculum. Supervise program volunteers and create an inclusive environment for participants and their caregivers.
A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Social Work or Nursing is preferred, along with 2-5 years of experience leading activities for people with dementia. Candidates must have strong facilitation skills and reliable transportation to travel between two campuses.
Lyngblomsten is looking to fill a brand new role, The Gathering Program Facilitator. This position is responsible for facilitating The Gathering, a dementia group respite program. The facilitator will create a supportive and engaging environment for individuals living with dementia, providing meaningful activities while providing 4 hours of respite for their family caregiver. This part-time position (21 hours per week) is scheduled across three weekdays.
The posted pay range of this hourly position is $20 to $26. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
