The Advanced Practice Provider treats and evaluates patients, administering care in hematology under the direction of a licensed physician. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient history taking, physical examinations, and reviewing laboratory data to diagnose various hematological conditions.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is preferred.

Knowledgeable about patient care diagnosis and treatment, current methods and techniques of practice. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities in accordance with scope of practice and licensure guidelines and in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
Job Summary
Conducting comprehensive patient history taking, physical examinations, and reviewing laboratory data to diagnose hematological conditions like anemia, bleeding disorders, blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma), and myeloproliferative disorders along with working with chemotherapy treatments experience strongly preferred. Classical Benign and Malignant Hematology outpatient experience strongly preferred.

Experience
2 years experience as a physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner Preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week 8:00am-4:30pm with flexibility. No weekends/holidays/evenings. No on-call.
