Responsibilities
The Nursing Assistant assists the RN by performing patient care activities and specific functions for which they have been prepared. They are accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or being a current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation. One year of experience in a Nursing Assistant role is preferred, and Basic Life Support certification is required.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required
Experience 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred
