Responsible for the daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes and lifting equipment. This includes managing electrical control systems, hydraulic systems, and performing structural welding and fabrication.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and proficiency in high-voltage electrical systems. Candidates should have welding experience and be willing to join a labor union and work rotating shifts in industrial environments.
The Journeyman Crane Mechanic is responsible for the daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilding of cranes and other lifting equipment. This role requires experience diagnosing and maintaining electrical and control systems, including AC/DC converters, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) from multiple manufacturers, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and industrial control systems involving both low- and high-voltage equipment.
This is a union position and all wages are determined per Collective Bargaining Agreement
