The Service Planner is responsible for processing work orders, assigning jobs to mechanics, and coordinating equipment repairs with internal departments and outside vendors. They also manage warranty claims, handle road calls, and maintain shop logs to ensure efficient business operations.
Candidates need one year of service planning experience, preferably in a heavy truck environment, or equivalent experience in mechanical administration or as a technician. A high school diploma or GED and knowledge of DOT approved equipment are required.

Receive red tags from drivers, process work orders; coordinate equipment with Driver Services and Customer Service; assign jobs to mechanics; and coordinate farmed out equipment with outside vendors.
