Leads cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure delivery on time and within budget. Manages project scope, schedules, spending, and risk mitigation strategies while communicating status to stakeholders.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Science, Business, or Finance, or equivalent professional experience. Must have five years of professional experience, including at least two years leading cross-functional projects.
Leads cross-functional and cross-opco teams of professionals through all phases of the project lifecycle. Manages and directs projects or initiative to ensure that project(s) are delivered on time, within budget and meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Manages either of the following: Single major initiative, defined as a project that is approved and prioritized on the FedEx Project Approval Committee portfolio or a strategic corporate initiative, or multiple projects of various sizes.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Science, Business, Finance, or related field required. In addition to minimum experience, high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience in a technical or professional position is accepted in lieu of degree.
Five (5) years experience required in a technical or professional environment with at least two (2) years of leading cross-functional projects.
Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions. Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures related to field operations.

Additional Details: This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere in the US excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories, however if you live within 50 miles of a campus you will be required to work at a FedEx campus location several times per week.
