We are looking for a Principal Backend Engineer (all genders) to be part of the development of our data-driven systems, specifically one of the Search, Recommendations and Sorting teams. These circles are embedded in our circle cluster “Customer & Shop Intelligence”, which is in charge of driving a personalized and inspirational shop experience.
There are multiple possible areas you could work on. One is designing and implementing search algorithms, leveraging NLP techniques, and optimizing search results for relevance and efficiency to ensure our Search Engine delivers highly accurate and comprehensive results, enhancing the overall user experience. Another option would be working at the heart of our recommendation or ranking systems with deep insights into the algorithms behind that. Within this, you will work together with fellow engineers and data scientists to ensure that the systems serve customers in the best possible way, balancing speed and recommendation performance.
